About Me
Hi, I'm Elvin. I grew up in Arkhangelsk, a port city in Russia's Arctic north, and came to Boston to earn an M.S. in Management from Boston University's Questrom School of Business, with a focus on supply chains.
For two years I coordinated freight for an agricultural company: scheduling trucks and drivers, negotiating with more than 40 carriers, and taking over 20 calls a day. That job taught me that most supply chain problems are information problems. Since then I've worked on consulting projects for CIBC and NEREID, published peer-reviewed research, and today I work as a Quantitative Analyst at Global Key Advisors, analyzing SEC filings in Python.
